The Brazilian Evangelical Alliance is mobilized to support the churches in helping the populations affected by the rains in the State of Bahia BR. The need for support is immediate!
We are currently helping three communities in the Itacaré region that were affected by the rains. The families had their wooden houses destroyed, lost all their belongings and are taking refuge in a school in the region. They need mats, blankets, toiletries and clothing. Items are being purchased and transported from the city of Ilhéus – Bahia BR.
At the same time, we are collaborating directly to reinforce the actions undertaken by World Vision Brazil since the beginning of the emergency alert. This mobilization to send essential items such as water, food and prevention items to COVID-19 follows the same partnership strategy with churches in all affected regions.

About Brazilian Evangelical Christian Alliance
The Brazilian Evangelical Christian Alliance is part of the World Evangelical Alliance, bringing together more than 600 million evangelical Christians in 129 countries around the world, uniting the body of Christ and strengthening the public testimony of the church about the values of the Kingdom of God.
We work to foster Christian unity, encourage partnerships and serve God’s mission, and be a prophetic voice for Brazil. We are a relational space for churches, organizations and individuals for visible witness to the Body of Christ and service in the Gospel of the Kingdom of God.
We confess our faith in harmony with the evangelical legacy founded on the milestones of the Protestant Reformation: the sufficiency of Scripture, the mediation of Jesus Christ and justification by grace through faith. We affirm the biblical faith with the historic and global evangelical community, starting from the Apostles’ Creed.
